What a shameful day for the people of India!
On 16th Dec, a 23-years old medical student was raped when she was on her way back from college to home. This incident took place at around 9:45 PM IST, that too in the Capital of India, New Delhi. The girl was brutally assaulted for over an hour and then she was thrown away from the running bus. She was left in that condition for almost an hour on the road, her clothes ripped off and blood flowing all over from the body when finally the cops came and took her to the nearest hospital. She went through multiple surgeries, and when the health seemed deteriorating, she was moved to a bigger hospital in Singapore 3 days ago. Today at 2:15 IST, she passed away.
People all over the country are very angry over the government for not taking appropriate actions for the safety of women. Thousands of rape cases are reported every year in the country and still no strict rules have been made for the culprits.
